Winvic starts £200m Towcester Park logistics scheme
Developer IM Properties has appointed Winvic Construction to deliver the £200m Towcester Park employment scheme in Northamptonshire.
The Northampton-based contractor has just started on site for phase one of the 1.1m sq ft development, with Collins Earthwork carrying out site preparation.
Winvic will deliver the project on a design and build basis, with plans for 15 acres of green space, amenity land and enhanced landscaping throughout the site.
Danny Nelson, Winvic’s managing director for industrial, distribution and logistics, said: “We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with IM Properties and work together to deliver the first stages of this high-quality employment space with industry-leading sustainability credentials.”
Towcester Park will cater to a range of businesses with units from 13,500 sq ft to 470,000 sq ft. The largest units will feature HQ-style offices, roof terraces, EV charging points and modern reception areas.
The sheds are designed to achieve EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings.
