Tucker M&E files administration notice

Staff have been made redundant at Tucker Mechanical & Electrical Building Services after the firm filed an administration notice.
The £25m turnover Hull based specialist has been in business since 1973 and also has a regional office near Birmingham.
One manager wrote on LinkedIn: “I would like to wish all the staff members at Tucker Mechanical and Electrical the best of luck in their future endeavours.
“”Remarkably sad day going out of business and good people being made redundant.
“I’ve worked with some fantastic people and been involved in some amazing projects with Tuckers over the years and it will always hold a special place.
“I hope everyone gets sorted with jobs as soon as possible. All will be assets to whichever company they end up working for.”
Latest results for the firm show a turnover of £25.1m for the year to January 31 2024 generating a pre-tax profit of £240,000 while employing 66 staff.
