Race for £3.5bn pan-Government consultants framework

The Crown Commercial Service has opened bidding on its £3.5bn pan-Government construction consultants framework.

Around 25 incumbent consultants are now facing a battle to hold onto their places on the Construction Professional Services 2 framework.

The four-year framework is scheduled to start in February 2026 and will be open to departments and public sector clients across the UK.

Construction Professional Services 2 (RM6356) deal will tighten competition in sensitive areas such as defence, nuclear and flood risk, with reduced supplier slots and stricter requirements on security clearance and specialist expertise.
