Multiplex soared up the rankings to top the contracts league in October with a major City of London offcie tower win.
The 24 storey tower, known as the Dovetail building, will provide 450,000 sq ft of office space with foundation work due to start shortly.
Volume builder Kier and Wates ranked second and third respectively with clutches of contract wins each totalling just over £200m in the quieter month for major project wins.
Kier secured jobs for King’s College London to deliver the redevelopment of its Bush House South West Wing in central London worth over £100m, and a £66m refurbishment and upgrade of Thames Water’s Mogden Sewage Treatment Works.
