Met Police preps £300m framework for estate upgrade

The Metropolitan Police Service has kicked off early market engagement ahead of launching a £300m building works and maintenance framework.

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime is leading the procurement process for the multi-lot framework, which will cover construction, repair and associated services across the MPS estate.

Interested firms have until 9 August to complete a supply market feedback questionnaire via the Coupa e-tender portal.

Their input will help shape the framework’s lotting strategy and scope before the main procurement is launched.

The full tender is expected to go live in mid-October and will be run as a competitive flexible procedure under the new Procurement Act 2023.

The framework is due to start in February 2026 and will run for just under six years, with an option to extend to early 2032.
