McAleer & Rushe wins £30m Tottenham student living job
McAleer & Rushe has bagged a major north London student accommodation job believed to be worth over £30m near Tottenham Hotspurs stadium.
The 287-room student living scheme on Tottenham High Road will blend the historic shop frontage of a grade II-lised printworks building with new urban blocks behind.
Design by local practice F3 Architects, 11 rooms will be created within the retained heritage façades, with the bulk of the scheme delivered in a new modern block to the rear, complete with landscaped gardens, shared social areas and wellbeing spaces.
Mark Diamond, senior director at McAleer & Rushe, said: “We’re thrilled to be delivering The Printworks, a landmark scheme that showcases our expertise in creating high-quality, sustainable student accommodation while celebrating and preserving local heritage.”
The Printworks is the latest in a string of major purpose built student accommodation wins for McAleer & Rushe as the contractor strengthens its grip on the fast-growing student housing market.
