Green light for nearly 400 flats at Leeds scheme
Plans for a major residential scheme delivering nearly 400 flats across three blocks in Leeds city centre have finally been approved.
Developers UCR Leeds has secured full planning permission for revised designs for its Wellington Road and Armley Road site.
The developer aims to build 384 flats across three buildings, the tallest reaching 18 storeys.
The mix includes 199 one-beds, 139 two-beds, and 46 three-bed flats. .
Revisions to the scheme included increased green space and greater affordable housing provision, following concerns raised by Leeds City Council’s City Plans Panel last month.
Outline approval for a mixed-use scheme on the site had previously been granted.
The project was designed by architect Woods Bagot with structural engineering by engineer Meinhardt. Solaris Developments is the development manager for the Armely Road scheme.
