Demolition team assembles on Multiplex London Wall site
Erith will start main demolition works next month at 75 London Wall in the City of London.
Multiplex has landed a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) on the £250m job to revamp and expand Deutsche Bank’s former headquarters with the main construction contract expected to be awarded next summer.
Architect Orms has designed the scheme for engineering, property and infrastructure group, Gamuda Berhad in a joint venture with real estate investment firm Castleforge.
Work is due to complete in the Autumn of 2027 with a significant proportion of the existing building retained.
KPH Deconstruction is finalising the strip-out package this month while GKR Scaffolding oversees the scaffolding package which is set to complete its first phase in January as Erith comes on site to deliver the heavy demolition as well as elements of the permanent works including structural strengthening, new foundations, and core extensions.
