Developer Hillwood is planning to start construction work by the end of this year at its latest 350,000 sq ft multi-unit estate in Luton.

Demolition work is now underway at the 16 acre site with new construction on industrial and logistics units expected to start before the end of 2025.

Industry data specialist Barbour ABI names SKF UK Ltd as the demolition contractor on site.

The site near the M1 will be fully redeveloped to provide a new industrial and logistics scheme after Hillwood acquired the site following the integration of its long-term development partner, Trebor Developments last October.

The Luton scheme is intended to kick start the next phase of Hillwood’s development plans with further announcements expected to follow in addition to speculative developments already underway at Crewe, Raunds, and Wigan.
