Contractors primed for £596m Westminster housing works
Westminster City Council has kicked off market engagement ahead of re-tendering £596m worth of housing repair and maintenance contracts covering its 22,000-strong housing stock.
The council’s existing eight term partnering deals, procured in 2017 and 2019, will expire between 2026 and 2028 and are being replaced with a Strategic Alliance model.
Key packages include £250m responsive repairs and voids, £250m major works, and specialist M&E, lifts, heating, and aids and adaptations contracts.
The council is also lining up new frameworks for planned preventative works, specialist repairs, compliance and professional services.
Suppliers are being invited to a virtual engagement event on 16 October 2025, followed by one-to-one sessions later in the month.
Tender notices are expected to be published in early 2026.
Interested suppliers will be invited to attend a virtual preliminary market engagement event, via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 16 October between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
