Piling specialist Cementation Skanska has promoted Emma Haddow to operations director responsible for UK-wide ground engineering services.

Haddow has over 20 years’ experience in piling and ground engineering and moves up from her previous role as business stream director in Scotland. She now joins the firm’s leadership team with immediate effect.

Since rejoining Cementation in 2022, Haddow has played a key role in expanding the business north of the border and was instrumental in landing major jobs like the South Clyde Energy Centre and The Keystone Building at Glasgow University.

She has previously worker for Van Elle and Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering.

Cementation managing director Andy Entwistle said: “Emma has made a significant contribution to the business since returning, including leading delivery of our biggest ever scheme in Scotland.”
