Bowmer + Kirkland snaps up office fit-out firm Denton
Bowmer + Kirkland has bought office interior design and fit-out specialist Denton in a move that marks a major milestone in the firm’s 30th year.
Denton has grown organically to a £40m turnover and will now tap into the financial strength and resources of B+K’s £1.25bn national group.
Founded in 1996 and owned by its directors and staff, Denton has carved out a strong reputation delivering CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B fit-outs across the country, with contracts ranging from 5,000 to 90,000 sq ft.
The deal will allow the London and Manchester-based interiors specialist to bid for larger and more complex schemes.
Mike Halewood, Denton founder, said: “This is a hugely exciting new chapter for Denton. Over the past 30 years we’ve built a business we’re incredibly proud of, being acquired by Bowmer + Kirkland Group gives us the scale and stability to deliver even greater value for our clients.”
B+K chairman Jack Kirkland said: “As part of the Bowmer & Kirland Group, we can expand opportunities, deliver larger and more ambitious projects, and continue to raise standards in the office design and fit-out sector.”
The deal underlines B+K’s continued push into complementary markets and cements Denton’s standing as one of the country’s leading office interior specialists.
