Barhale launches Low Carbon Solutions arm
Barhale has launched a new Low Carbon Solutions unit targeting growing markets including heat recovery, heat transfer and heat networks.
Low Carbon Solutions will also provide Barhale’s existing operations with internal advice for infrastructure projects to improve their carbon and sustainability performance and identify opportunities to install complementary technologies at the build stage.
The launch follows the recent appointment of James Haddon as Barhale’s new Director of Low Carbon Solutions – a newly-created, board-level role.
Haddon said: “The development of low-carbon solutions in the UK is an exciting and potentially lucrative venture.
“I’ve wanted to do more to support the transition to net zero for some time – and this was the right moment to step into that space.
“We want to position Barhale at the forefront of the UK’s push toward net zero. By harnessing opportunities in energy recovery and low-carbon infrastructure, the company aims to support clients in futureproofing their assets and operations.”
Chief Executive Martin Brown added: “Our established, proven skillset means we are very well placed to offer meaningful insight and to make a tangible difference in the delivery of low carbon solutions to clients.
“What’s more, we work with many large utilities businesses which are increasingly focused on the opportunities presented to integrate complementary solutions with their assets.
“Accelerating our carbon solutions offering is a key element of our growth strategy. James’s expertise and wealth of experience provide an ideal combination to lead the drive. This move also reflects Barhale’s broader commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.”
